Mine is about as boring as they get. It's just the first letter in my first name (Tom) and my last name.

Too late to change it now unless I need to go underground, which could be any time the way it goes around here.

I owned a Baja and I like to fly below the radar...way below the radar!!

Re: Usernames....... the weird ones

none of you have a username that I asked about.

jigngrub is types of bait, fat fanny could be a problem or a phyical profile, and roscoe could be your name. None of which are the types of usernames I am asking about.

what does Jvlx1p1 stand for? That is the TYPE of username I am asking about..

I checked the member list for "Jvlx1p1" and drew a blank.
Are you sure you spelled it correctly? :D ;)

I'm probably not on your list either.

Mine was bestowed upon me by a park ranger when I was teaching catamaran sailing 39 plus years ago.I barrel rolled an 18' Gcat over the top of a park ranger boat and three ski boats tied up at the dock. He handed me the ticket and said "have a nice day Dockwrecker "

Bondo... You truly are one of a kind:) A wealth of information who can slip in a little hijacking and hardly be noticed;)

PS: veritas honus = truth and honor (Latin)... And... No. I do not speak Latin:)

Thalasso.

Greek for water therapy.

lncoop stands for Luke Nelson Coop (boring, I know:sleeping:).

Dang IT!!!! I always thought "lncoop" was a foreign term that means "grilled mini giraffes"...

I think some of the bizarre ones might be "suggested" names from other websites, email... My username, fishrdan, was suggested when I was trying to signup for email 15-20 years ago as fisherdan and that name was taken, so it suggested fishrdan......

Post up yer story, 'n plans in the Restoration, 'n Repair forum, 'n you'll get Plenty of ideas on How to pull it off...

Same reason I use the hyphenated Bond-o, rather than Bondo, as I usually do...
Back when I got here, some other clown had used Bondo, created his account, 'n Left...
Never to be seen again.... :grumpy: :blue:

Re: Usernames....... the weird ones

I'm always tinkerin' around with stuff, cars, trucks, rv's, boats, you name it, I've probably turned a wrench on it at some point in time.
Pretty much anything mechanical, I'll try to fix at least once. So tinkerguy70, I tinker around on stuff, I'm a guy, and was born in '70.

Figured something simple was already taken on a busy forum like this, so I built this handle to be unique.

Re: Usernames....... the weird ones

I suppose mine might be one of those you wonder about. It's simply my amateur radio call sign. It was issued to me by the FCC back in 1992. I think there are several of us around that use our call on forums.
All calls in the US start with A,N,K, or W. The country is divided into 10 areas, the 4th is VA and the southeastern states.
Sometimes, during hard to understand conditions we hams use phonetics to get out message across. There are standard ones the I'm sure many military guys are familiar with. We usually make some up for fun to. Keg of Dew (Mt. Dew) 4 an Uncontested Pizza Lover.
