New to the boating world and have been trying to get this 2000 evinrude 50hp 4stroke/ Suzuki ready for the summer I’m trying to do any maintenance that should have been done boat sat for 3 years, it does run good took it out several times at end of last season. My question is the water pressure valve or poppet valve as it’s called by some is under the oil reservoir so I would have to take power head off to get to it, I’m sure it’s never been changed , should I change it or let it go unless I have a problem?
