Ahh, ya'll knew it was coming.. another question from me! lol I actually meant to post this pic/question a while back, but forgot.. Then today I was showing my grandpap where the release mechanism is for my tilt trailer, and it reminded me.. As I said, it is a tilt trailer, and the pic is showing the tilt-release mechanism (sorry, poor pic quality but best I could get right now as the light above the front of my boat burnt out). My question is, what are the two 'tabs' that stick up with the holes in them? They are attached to the part of the trailer that would actually raise when tilted. Wondering if they are supposed to be for a bow strap??
