where'd this thread come from anyway? ok, i was named catfish by a friend of mine. it all started when one day we were fishing this overflow pond, we caught a many a cats from this hole until it started drying up. well one day i tried tieing a treble hook on with a split shot below it, it was a funky rig but i started throwing this thing and snagged 5-10lb cats one right after the other. so after that i became catfish to him. before that, when we fished salt water, i was shark master!
