Yes, anything will get stuck in certain conditions. Jeeps are not alone in that !!

Well no fancy 4 wheel drive here.Always been a van guy.Does well pulling my 26 ft Rockwood 4000 dry.I imagine there are plenty ramps that you need a 4 wheel but doubt I will ever visit them anyway.She is a 2001 1500 Ram Van good ole work horse 318 with a rebuilt tranny and rear end.The Crestliner is gonna look sweet painted up in the same colors aint she?As some would say im stoked!

I have a 2000 F350, 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel, 4R100, 2wd. It does well pulling the boat as well as my other toys. A 5.4 powered F150 will easily pull a boat up to 5k.

i often carry a pickup camper as well backing down the ramp with a setup like that is a pia you cant see unless you sligthly snake down the ramp

Traction control has only engaged one time going up a very wet ramp with some oil on it. I still get 14-16 MPG going 70 MPH in D3 fully loaded, with plenty of passing power left going up moderate Tennessee hills.

Oh thats nothing, we only tow 3 miles to the ramp and 2 miles to the shop.

We use our 2000 Oldsmobile Silhouette Premiere to tow our 1988 Celebrity 210V, a 21 foot cuddy on a tandem axle trailer. WE do get stares at the ramp, when all you see are pickups and our front wheels start to slip and make all kinds of noise. The only real trouble we had was when it started raining on us and we could get no traction. Traction control could do nothing to help us.

I rarely have a problem backing my boat or other trailers. When I had my jetski I just opened the back door and made sure that the curtains for the front windows were open in the camper.

i never thought about opening the door if only i would have thought about that...lol oh well my new boat is quite a bit bigger to so that should help as well

I have a 2001 XLT F-150 Off Road with a 5.4
My wife has a 2002 F-150 King Ranch with a 5.4

Both will pull our 2006 3100# Larson 204 Escape with a in out drive Merc, with ease.

WOOO HOOOO, just picked up my new/used 2005 Dodge 2500 laramie with the turbo 6 diesel. 22mpg in mixed driving on the computer. can't wait to tow my boat. anyone need a excellent shape 2003 honda pilot, its for sale

1992 Dodge 4WD 3/4 ton flatbed, with a Cummins turbodiesel and 5 speed trans. Has 270,000 miles on it now.
