My first car was a 1977 Buick Regal 2dr with a 350/4bbl carb. It was a funky lite orange metallic with a white landau top with white vinyl interior. I got that when I was a junior in high school around '84. That was a fun car and I never had a problem finding it in a parking lot.
My first bike(have had 15 more since then) was a 1972 Kawasaki H2750 triple two stroke SCREAMER. They were affectionately known as the "Widow Maker". They were violently fast for the time and could be made to go much faster for not a lot of dough. My dad had several of these when I was a kid and I always said I would have one as my first bike. Still wish I had it.

For me it was a 58 VW bug.
Paid 50.00 bucks for it and had to tow it home with a chain, my dad doing the pulling.
Rebuilt the motor before i could drive it.
1965 Comet Cyclone, 225 hp 289 4-spd. Paid $675.00 for it in 1975 when I was a junior in high school. Emptied out my savings account rebuilding the engine to make it 300 hp, Mom asked why, after you spent so much money fixing it, does it rattle the kitchen window's when you come down the driveway.

1st truck was a 68 Chevy 1/2ton with a 283 V8 and a granny tranny...had it 6 months to clean it up and fixer all up and totaled it 20 minutes after plating it...sucked....
I still have my first bike...
Honda 200cc Twinstar...sold it to my dad and he left it outside and the engine froze...maybe some day...
It was replaced by a 1980 Kawasaki KZ650 which I also still have....actually I have 2 of them...
My 1st car was a 1968 Mustang Coupe that was my 16th birthday present back in 76 from my Grandmother. It was her car and she drove from NJ to Fl to give it to me. I got to return the gift a couple of years ago and got her a 2006 Ford Taurus to replace the 2001 Taurus that she finally wore out after 130K miles. Gotta add she's 95 and still driving herself around Crystal River!!!

I had a few break downs here and there and my friends used to see me coming and say "here comes another SAAAAAAAB story."
There was a spare water jacket in the back. A year later the fan shot off through the radiator... Now I knew why it needed a radiator and why the spare water jacket was in the back. So I threw in the towel. I donated it to the High School auto shop where I went to school as a project and bought a 76 Nova.
The funny thing was a math teacher that didn't like me very much cause I didn't play soccer ended up having the shop take a few parts of his old Saab sedan and he started driving my old wreck...now there is justice.

hey!i had one of those honda,s.traded it for a 1970 bsa lightning chopper!first car was a 1964 chevelle 4 door with a 230 straight six that when i sold it had 175,000 miles on it and still ran like a charm in 1975.
First car - 1980 VW Rabbit. Total POS. The inside door handles wouldn't work so you had to roll down the windows to open the doors (but one of the back window cranks wouldn't work either so you couldn't get out of that door), a vent/wing window fell completely off the car going around a turn, and the radio caught fire in the dash.
First bike - 1991 Suzuki GSF400 Bandit. Loved that bike. 14,500rpm redline. Still want another bike, but I bought a boat instead.
First truck - 1995 Ford Ranger, ext. cab, 2wd. Just a small truck. Nothing great or bad about it.
Ayuh,... My 1st car was a 64 Chevy II,... 230 I-6, 3 on the tree....
Wrecked,+ repaired by an older cousin,... He gave it to me, late in my senior year of high school...age 17..
It'd do 75mph as the valves floated in 2nd gear,+ almost 80mph in 3rd...
If I'd had it another 12 hours, it would have been 2 weeks, but I Smashed it....
