Re: Where's Don S?
Interesting stuff. I think people lose site of the fact that this is nothing more than an internet chat room, not a closed-door professionals only technical hotline.

Me, I'm a jack of all trades. Auto appraiser is the current money-making career...former auto mechanic and auto body man, former financial advisor, racer of cars and snowmobiles (weekend warrior only), muscle car restorer by hobby, engine rebuilder when necessary, a fairly accomplished welder and woodworker, pretty darn computer savvy, a bit of an athlete, a loving husband, a Christian, and someone who happens to be able to fix just about anything my hands come across with proper patience and research.

Am I a professional boat mechanic? Not by a long shot. Do I sometimes have something valuable to offer here? I'd like to think maybe sometimes. It's the job of YOU who read each post to filter out the junk, guesses, dummies, professional answers, sarcasm, and 13 year olds posing as boat mechanics.

Fact is, ANYONE can write ALMOST anything they want here. Right or wrong. Many seem to forget that. I see this as a site to bounce things around, a place to confirm or deny your own thoughts, and a place to help get yourself and/or others to the correct answer to a problem. The people in this place do not ALWAYS provide the correct answer. If you dislike a certain person on this site, just skip their comments...it really is that easy. If, for example, I didn't like Trog's comments (not true, I have no prob at all there), I'd just skip anything Trog had to say and move on. How hard is that?

And it's time to admit that most of the regulars on this site have an addiction...myself included. GET OFF THE COMPUTER ONCE IN A WHILE AND GET SOME SUN, EVERYONE!

Happy day! This concludes my useless opinion....
