a lot of guys use Rotella T6 5w-40 in the skiis, not sure if that translates to german well. If I recall the BMW LL3 spec is not an easy cross ref.

The voltage loss is a good start on the CEL. What years are the skiis ?

The jet pump maint is no big deal our 2004 sea doo was simple just a PITA to wait for the lube to fill on the 1/8" fill plug on it. Newer one is greased and if you are bored with oil threads ask on the PWC forums if grease or gear lube is better...

Same issue on my end as when my dad passed this year I lost my trailer driver ... The jestski I do on our shore with the tractor, my boat and my brothers boat need to go to the launch. A neighbor and friend need help with his dock so offered to drive but wanted to use his SUV which didnt have a 5 flat and the wire was too short anyways. Next year Ill walk the two miles after leaving our SUV there...
Thanks. Skis are 2016. I'm looking at the API SN spec, 5w-40 or 15w-40 for the seadoo. Yamaha is "Recommended engine oil type SAE:
SAE 10W-30, 10W-40, 20W-40, 20W-50
Recommended engine oil grade API:
API SE,SF,SG,SH,SJ,SL"
So the 5w-40 euro should be a good oil i think, probably overkill. I get a little hesitant running a diesel oil on a newer gas engine, esp one that's running 9k rpm. I would never run one in a GDI engine (these aren't, but don't know enough about the engines yet).
What are you using in yours?

I'll have a driver of either a ski, boat or trailer with the boy about to get his license (and can drive a stick, natch). My solution this year was 2 bikes in the back of the truck. Drive truck to ramp, bike back. Boat to ramp, drive back with boat/trailer. Reload with 2 bikes, swap trailers, drive to ramp, bike #1 back home. Ski #1 to ramp, leave it there, bike #2 back. Ski #2 to ramp, load both, drive home. Surprisingly everything went according to plan.

Last oil change I did on the Yamaha I used the mobil 4T. was on sale cheap and meets the 10W-40 recommendation.

Ive been running the Sea Doo XPS oil in it, mostly because I haven't had time to look into it. Just bought it end in august of 2025 so really my first year with it. LiquMoly comes up a lot in discussions. I wouldn't hesitate to run any of the 5w-40s you run in your cars. The thing is Amsoil/LiquiMoly/ etc aren't really an cost diff. The T6 gallon is like $35 that's what I'll prob do next year as the XPS is like $68 a gallon. Valvoline has a Euro Formula 5w-40 that likely would work. Its like $41 on Amazon , thats what I was doing for the mini before we unloaded it

Zero issue running that. Ive done M1 15w-50 in my mercruiser for the last decade , zero issues and I hammer it

Same here Im basically buying what ever M1, Valvoline, Pennsoil, or Castrol amazon can has.

My least miles daily has over 100k, most is 270k. The camry with 270k I stopped caring if it was M1. Our highlander has about 170 and I do the longer oil changes (10k) but use M1 extended performance. I grew up do 3k oil change intervals, so that was a hard bridge to cross. Both it and the camry have the same engine family (3.5 V6) that is super reliable. I have seen no issues going 10k and the oil analysis I have done supports this.

Bottom line I suspect the ski using the euro synthetic will be fine. Mine is not supercharged, assume yours is the same? The same basic engine makes almost twice as much HP with the blower so dont over think it
