I believe so. You basically have 2 2 cylinder motors hooked together. Doesn't the 2C need ot be wrapped around to 2 plug wires? I can't remember which of the tachs I have but mine needs to be around 2 plug wires. It doesn't really matter. You'll know when you start the motor.

The 1C needs to be wrapped around two plug wires because it requires a spark every 180 degrees. So each plug fires once every revolution so two get one every 180 degrees you need two plug wires.

Re: WOT RPM's

I ran my boat this weekend with my Tiny tach and my teleflex is within 50 RPM's of my tiny tach.

Interesting development though is that my motor will no longer turn 5400 with the 17 it turns only 5100 at 32 MPH

The 15 gets 5300 at 31.5 MPH.

That sounds about right as far as RPM Diff because the 15 is cupped.

So do I have to try and scrounge around for a 13 pitch prop in order to get my RPM's up.

A 13 doesn't seem right for this boat.

I am still thinking something else is wrong.

A 90 should turn that 15 at higher RPM's, or am I just expecting too much from my motor?

I am truly at my wit's end.
