I may be the go-to guy at work to get things done and I think I'm a decent fisherman, but one it comes to wrapping presents, my stuff looks like paper with duct tape. LOL, I don't get it, how do women do it with such perfection.

It's Christmas, not Xmas. We're allowed to use Christmas on the forum. And wrapping presents is not near as challenging as folding fitted sheets.

If you find an answer to that or any of the other bunch of how do women do it questions, let me know too would ya? :D Fitted sheet is way easier then gift wrapping.

Gift bags are a life saver.. I just think we don't WANT to spend the time to get it right. Down deep somewhere, us men believe this task is womanly and feel that doing a good job makes us less manly.

For Mrs Ken's gifts we have a daughter who is an expert at it. For the rest it's Mrs Ken's job. I am absolutely useless at it.
The other option is to go to the mall here where they have a gift wrapping service for a nominal charge that goes to charity. 99% men in the line up !!

You could always use the excuse "Honey, I couldn't find a box big enough, so I wrapped it using the cabin of a new boat." :)

Just hide the gift(s) around the house and tell them when they are getting warmer/cooler as they search for it.

Re: Wrapping Xmas Gifts

I use a half a roll of paper to wrap something the size of a zippo lighter!

Hate to wrap..It looks ok, from 10 feet under the tree though..

I had a Great Uncle that took PRIDE in wrapping and his trademark was making it as DIFFICULT as possible to open!! Tape everywhere, super glue..prob some 5200 was in there had I known what it was as a kid!
He would sit there and watch us little kids struggle and strain with this huge S.E.G on his face...

Miss you Uncle Ray...Merry Christmas up there, tell JC Happy Bday for me!
