Re: W's Responsibilities??

I am not sure the motivation for this thread is pure but the answer to the question is simple. We agree with President Bush's decisions.

We believe that he went to war along with the democrats for the right reasons. We believe that RUNNING AWAY is an abdication of RESPONSIBILITY. A responsible adult will finish what he starts.

We believe that using every tool at his disposal to keep this country free of terrorists is a good thing. Liberals can't keep their values straight. While the ACLU goes judge shopping, (a decision that has been stayed consistant with the law) and tries to put our country at risk, I am at a loss to name one piece of legislation put forth by any democrat for homeland security. In fact they threatened filibuster in the senate on a bill to prevent felons of specific crimes from working in secure areas. This is a no brainer unless you are beholding to the unions. How is that responsible? Not consistant with a genuine interest in homeland security. I won't even go into the ACLU's defence of NAMBLA and Pelosi marching in a gay pride parade with NAMBLA, while the attempting to politicise the Florida perverts situation for national gain. He was using the program laid out by this wack job organization which liberals seem to support by their actions.

President Bush gets his support for his convictions and his follow through. His results have been suspect and we all would like things to have been more swift and decisive. But he has been hindered by blocking tactics and obstruction by the left. Traitors leaking classified information, an irresponsible press publishing covert programs. And lets be fair some members of the administration have fallen flat on their face. Brownie comes to mind.

We all want to be safe, he institutes a program. We are bombed and murdered and we defend. The economy suffered and he had a program that worked. To parrot QC his supreme court appointees approved are the finest possible. The man does what he says, and the other side won't even put out a program that address anything. How can you support the opposition when they have zero alternatives. They have zero creative and constructive suggestions. What is the liberal democratic message on anything? Other than run away and higher taxes?

Ask any conservative on this board if they think President Bush has done a good job on the boarder. I would imagine to a person the answer would be no. But has there been so much as a finger raised by the OPPOSITION to do the work of the people? They could run him over if they had so much as one spine between them all on this issue alone. Both sides of the isle have been a disgrace on this issue.

Meanwhile the left spins out lunatic conspiracy theories like blowing up the levies and wanting blacks to die. W being responsible for global warming, Bush manipulating the election with oil prices, (OPEC to cut production by 1 million barrels a day 30 days before and election thus elevating fuel costs?)Comparing our troops to Nazi's, eroneously blaming Carl Rove for leaks and accusing President Bush of dirty tricks. (no apologies yet) And now the best of the best, President Bush planned the attack and blew up the WTC's. This is who we are to turn for answers.

Bush has provided plans for the future and acted decisively, while others sit in the peanut gallery with their hate, making up stories and you think we should consider them a viable alternative. Not hardly.

It isn't a perfect administration, and conservatives are more than happy to blast them when they screw up. But don't whine about a problem without a viable alternative. Do you folks have any idea how bad the election would be if you had a Leiberman and others of his temperment and honor leading your party? Thank you very much for Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Russ Feingold, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, and the entire tribe of fanatics. Try putting a series of programs that puts Americans first and not the UN and just maybe you can win an election.

Conservatives like and believe in America. We support it, and defend it. Publically running it down in an effort to be "liked" by other less desirable nations, for political gain, and some kind of underlying self loathing is wrong.

That's enough.

This is going nowhere-fast.
