$660 including all the fitting hardware? That's sounds like a good price!

What are you going to use as a sealant?

Aldo

Re: Cruise Craft Restoration

no fitting hardware, I need a couple dozen s/steel bolts and nuts. As far as the sealant goes, i old one didn't have any. I have quite a large recess that the screen bolts to so there's not much chance of water getting under the sheild and up over and down the dash. But, you've got me thinking, maybe I should use some sealant. Like selleys water tight or window sealer??? They are quite flexible and clear.

cheers

I'd use a sealant tengals. It'll keep water from sitting between the glass and the window frame.

Re: Cruise Craft Restoration

yep, 1 done with a saw while cutting the floor. Stupid me The other was a 'previous' owner runaground. Now, before you say anymore the saw cut has been done with epoxy resin and will have 3 layers on it. The crack has been filled with epoxy and that section will also have 3 layers over it. The crack is only a inside surface crack, it does not show on the outer of the hull. Also, for the outside of the hull in that whole section, it will be cut back and re glassed. Pics to follow.
cheers

Re: Cruise Craft Restoration

yeah, i know. It's addictive, i can't stop. Im heading to Singapore today for a week (business), so it's going to put me a week behind. It's the painting/surface prep that's going to take a while. I decided to 'roll and tip' 2 part international 'perfection', rather than spray 1 part internation 'brightside'.
cheers
