Re: Cruise Craft Restoration

just finished the flooring. Worked out great. I got the glass down and will apply the 2nd coat of resin tomorrow. A work of advice to people reflooring there boats, never think you'll have enough resin. You need heaps for a strong, good finish.
cheers
BTW will post pics this weekend.

Tengals,
That's a great looking boat. I've always liked bowriders, and it looks like yours is better than new. I only hope my project comes out half as well as yours.

You're welcome.

110% job. Congratulations.

I haven't checked this thread out for a while.

I won't be posting pix of my control box, owing to my failure to follow my own advice in the interests of speed and just sanding it back and hitting it with black epoxy 'cos that's the can I happened to have.

Re: Cruise Craft Restoration

The routing to extend the diameter of the hole was done with a flap bit.
What is a flap bit? I'm interested to know more details of the process you used. Boat is looking superb... you're doing a fantastic job.

Still wait'n to see that winshield tengals. Everything else is looking great,

In your album you mention mixing top coat and primer 50/50? Never heard of that. You sure that is a good idea?

You also stated that your white guages on white paint will look 'Mickey Mouse" If so, why are you doing it. Unless, of course, Mickey Mouse means something different DownUnder. :D
