    How do I wire this electric davit motor?

    Was the '92 Johnson 9.9 hp carburetor faulty?

    I read that the plastic top of the carburetor wasn't held down securely enough and it was recalled. My plastic top has a bolt that goes in the side and hods the cam roller on. Johnson J10RENA. Anyone know something about this? Do I need a new carburetor or a kit? Thanks.

    Where does water come out of TN26 5hp

    Does the Mikuni fuel pump work on RD19 35hp?

    It says it pump 17 liters per hour. Will it work on the 35? Part is 07-00777 from Aircraft Spruce. Not bad for $20.00 I've seen a Johnson/evinrude pump listed for the 18hp but I don't know if it will work on this model or not. Thanks.

    TN26 (1950-51) 5hp lost spark again, air gap?

    After putting in 0.22 capacitors @50volts, I got a spark on one plug. The next day there was nothing. I cleaned the points and set them to 0.20" Then I set the coil air gap to 0.10". I'm not sure what the correct setting is. Still nothing. I need some new ideas. Thanks.

    Minnkota 565 foot control turns hard

    The foot control works because the cable moves inside the head, but the bolt won't hold it. It takes vise grips on the knob to turn the chain. I lubed below the wires where it turns and the knob. Any suggestions? What does the knob do? Thanks.

    How do I tell if early or later carb is the right one?

    Johnson's website lists an early and later (337833)carburetor top cover for a 1992 9.9hp J10Rena. The first costs about $60 and the later one costs $8. Can I assume the later one is a superceded part? Neither is the original part number 334050). Thanks.
