    1975 omc outdrive

I found this searching. 1975 Slickcraft 302 Ford. My tilt is stuck up. At the little floating switch on the helm I get an amp draw yet motor does not work. I am trying to find out if something is stuck? Ordered 1975 OMC stern drive service manual, waiting for it. I see this thread is...

    '75 24'5" Slickcraft Cabin Crusier

Always seems to be some envy floating around 😄... I have recieved this craft as pretty much salvage. I will see how it runs after I put my magic touch on the Holley carb. Bad news is what I am used to... ain't no thang... This boat does not have the original head, you know that toilet...

    '75 24'5" Slickcraft Cabin Crusier

Hi, can someone tell me what model boat this is? Just picked it up the other day. Has a 351 Windsor 4 barrel engine with OMV outlive. Is there a service manual available for these boats? Taking my chances with it, supposed to of been winterized??

1968 Sportfour 65853B viewing tomorrow, probable purchase.

What 'cha got to say about it? Got to change it to short shaft. Looks like the spark gets made under the flywheel. Showing a 9 amp stator plate under the generator, seen an exploded view. So there must not be a belt drive generator. Yet I see an amplifier...hummmmmm. New to me. Don't...

Cavitation plate ... Does size matter?

The 33 pony Ski-Twin (blue), doesn't have much of a cavitation plate on it. Yet the 40 pony Selectric (white), has more of a cavitation plate on it. The Ski-Twin is more of a base sticker model that comes with a recoil and electric starter yet no generator. I am supposing the top of the...

Cable/pulley steering with a new 25 hp Mercury

Re: Cable/pulley steering with a new 25 hp Mercury I am using a rope steering on my '53 Kit Chris*Craft. I just hooked up a 33 Evinrude Ski-Twin this year. My steering get up is somewhat hippie rigged, yet it works smooth and steers perfectly. Last year I had a 15 clamped on the transom...

    Aqua Meter Tachometer inop

Hi, I have an old Aqua Meter tach I bought last year new yet without the box or paperwork. It is model #250. It is adjustable between 1 and 6 pulses. It has a grey pulse wire and black ground wire. The pulse wire is connected to the cut out switch mounting screw. Black is grounded...

Re: Miss Peachtree Here's the jack plate finished. A 3/4" plank of mahogany bolted in between. I sawed the plate down as much as I could, realizing the 150 maximum horsepower rating for it was way too much for this 13.5 footer. A 33 pony Ski-Twin will be used this year. Eventually I want to...
