    Engine Height

That whole engine pod has a home made look about it, with more bolts than welds. Nothing wrong with that in my book. Thought being it might be possible to lower the transom without further modifying the rest of the engine pod or it's attachment points - other than to realign the bottom alum...

What does a "transom bracket deflector" look like?

    Engine Height

I'm not all that familiar with the jack plate install. Would it allow the steering linkage to clear both the jack plate itself, as well as the transom allowing the engine to drop maybe 4" from where it is now?? I do know that USUALLY, you would use a jack plate to RAISE an engine. Not so sure...

Whats the consensus using plastic slips under an aluminum painted hull!

Wondering outloud, I'm wondering if this plastic is so soft that you could imbed sand or other abrasives into it's surface? That would do a number on painted alum. for sure.

    Engine Height

First, sorry to hear of your loss. I don't believe this engine is too low at all. I do agree it may look that way at first glance, but when you start looking closer, things you don't see at first start coming into focus. First clue: Look at the top of the transom and how it lines up in...

Whats the consensus using plastic slips under an aluminum painted hull!

I use the fenders as my guide. New boat or new boat landing, I usually start with them barely submerged and go from there. Easy to see.

Whats the consensus using plastic slips under an aluminum painted hull!

Thinking along the same lines here. If the boat is being launched and retrieved in water that's deep enough, the back of the boat should be floating, or nearly so, during that process. There's not going to be much weight on any sort of plastic on the very back of the bunk in that process.

    Really cool hard top Cruiser

There are a LOT of pretty serious Century fans. With a classic like this one, there was little doubt here that boat was going to bring money few others with questionable motors would ever bring.

Pee hole only dripping water --- 15hp Tohatsu

I would run a piece of something like weed whacker string into the outlet to make sure some bug hasn't started building a nest in there. Pretty common problem.

93’ Bass Tracker 40hp Prop Suggestions?

I have a very similar boat (17' Polar Craft) I use for testing 40 and 50 hp Honda outboards. I think 17" pitch is way too much, which might also explain why the boat is so doggy. I use 14" and 15" props when testing. If you are getting 5500 from that prop, it may have been cut down or repitched...

Honda 50 hp stull when passing from R to N

Are you trying to find a place that will sell you a manual? Covid shouldn't have anything to do with that when dealing with most companies.

23’ Harris pontoon w/ 135 plowing in back

You've got way too heavy a motor on that boat, even with the 25" 'toons. If you add a 3rd toon forward of the engine pod, you may carry the weight better, you may not. The back of the boat is where you need the lift. A 3rd log may be too far forward, unless it's designed to replace the engine...

Adding Third Toon to 24' Pontoon

Thank you! That was serial #180, one of the earliest Tri-Pacers. There were only a couple older that were still registered. God only knows what kind of shape they were in! -Al

    Pontoon on blocks

The scissor type trailers are awesome at this. Most will let you drop the pontoon right on the ground and then pull them out from under. The bunk types are much more difficult, as you describe.

Honda 50 hp stull when passing from R to N

The manual you are after is for a BF50D. It covers all of the fuel injected 40 and 50 horse injected engines from 2007 to date I believe. Like this one - https://publications.powerequipment.honda.com/details/61ZZ500E4KIT

    Pontoon guide ons

Geez, are you going to tell us what type of trailer you have? Is it the bunk type that you float the boat on to, or the scissor type that you can raise up and down?
