    try to rinse away any oils ... clear liquid Crazy glue could seep into the carck and seal it... won't solidify it much but it may seal it good. btw if you want to harden crazy glue instantly just spray it with a small bottle mix of rubbing alchool with some diluted baking soda...

    Have you tried a strong dose of cleaner products like ring free, power tune some like Seafoam some don't . Evinrude make a product called Carbon Guard etc.... try another meter with a short hose. would hand pumping help it stay running ? ...could be fuel starvation problem if you need...

    The temp sensors do not have a battery source so they would not put batt. on the tan wire it is possible you are seeing voltage looped around in the buzzer and back out presented on the tan which waits for a ground.

    to work your alarm needs power so battery on one wire would be mandatory ! 10.+ volts (measure it accurately) is likely good enough to buzz but normally battery power common to accessories and all should be equal to what you can read on clean battery posts ... if it is that low the battery...
