Just need to know what wires go to what?

Even if you could figure out how to wire it without damaging your car, those adapters often provide protection for the vehicle. If your Volvo has a lighting control module or other such animal and it got fried it would make the adapter look like a bargain.

    Gimbal bearing seal question.

That "seal" stops excess gimbal bearing grease from being flung around. It does not have to seal very well. Normally not changed.

As Scott says, also some jurisdictions require brakes over a certain weight.

    Boat will not plain fast

It's normal for it not to get to full rev's like yours is while trying to get up on plane. It doesn't have a transmission like a car. It always starts out in high gear so to speak. You might try installing smart tabs or hydraulic tabs. They would get you up on plane quicker perhaps without the...

    "Premium" vs "high performance" lube

I agree, they could have come up with better names. I've made the same mistake but figured it out before using it so can't help otherwise.

    charging trolling motor batteries

If you have two 12 volt batteries making up the 24 volts you can just hook the 12 volt charger up to each battery individually. No need to disconnect them.

    A/C unit hose

Could use a utility knife to cut a slit in the hose to get it off. If you spray Quicksilver Powertune on the barb it might help the new hose slide on.

    How to replace trim switch????

Welcome. If that control is like mine on the bottom of the control handle there was a gap where I inserted a hex key. If you put it full throttle in throttle only mode then the gap would face the stern and make it easier to look at.

2001 Trophy pro 2103 radio harness

Welcome. Trophy doesn't make radios. If you can figure out what make and model the radio is then that might help to get a connector. Otherwise, splicing is your best bet.

    Batteries status after winter storage

I trickle charge mine a couple of times over the winter. But, if it's a good battery that is fully charged they can have a full charge without charging. Helped a friend get his boat ready last week. He left his 3 year old battery in all winter with the boat outside. We had about a month of -22F...

Mercruiser 3.7 MCM 165 not getting to operating RPM

Welcome. Is the the new drive the same gear ratio as the old drive? Is the new prop the same spec's as the old one? The gear ratio should be 1.84 approximately. A change in either will impact rev's.

Mercury 1150 Stuck in UP position

Welcome. You might have to crack the hydraulic lines to get it down. The Reverse Lock Control knob only allows you to tilt the motor up, it will not help with getting it down.

Mercruiser 3.0 tks noise at idle or no wake speed

Welcome. All I can suggest is taking the drive belts off and see if the noise is still there? Not that it has anything to do with the noise but what's with the loose black wire with the ring terminal at the back of the motor?

    Power Trim Up not working

You're correct. The Trailer up just raises the drive higher than the Trim button. Yours is a common problem and many people use the Trailer up instead of Trim when the Trim function fails.

1996 Bayliner 1952CN, won't start after winterization - new boat owner

The choke should be almost fully closed when trying to start a cold motor. Approximately a 1/8" open gap. That's after pumping the throttle a couple of times and having the throttle advanced a tad.
