    Spare Stern Drive

Those gears look shot. You should have a nice polished oval mid gear. The pitting you see is most likely from too much pressure on those spots. We have these custom 4 foot wide gear/bearing sets like what a crane rotates on and that looks exactly like what happens to the gearbox output pinion...

    New Boat For Christmas

With my cuddy there is a step down and I had to put a "floor drain" to allow the water a place to get to the bilge. I used 1" pvc and bedded it in with peanut butter then glassed over the top. On the ends I ruffed up the pvc so the resin could stick better. I also made nice smooth transitions on...

    1974 reinell cuddy restore

I used the scrim to do the patterning and put it up like an old car headliner. Its stapled all around the perimeter and across the roof braces. Also in 2 spots I have stainless rods holding part up. In those areas I stitched a sleeve for the rod to slide thru and there were holes in the wood...

    OMC ECM Needed

I dont know if this is a viable solution but what about a DIY ecm. I use a "megasquirt" on my 71 truck. Right now it's a 96 454 fuel injected motor. It's a cheap version of what they use in race cars. They can be configured to run just about anything and they do canbus too. That is how I run my...

    RWD Tow Vehicle Launch Issues?

My mom has a Honda ridgeline....2013?..... and I use it for all my recreational towing because it's more comfortable than my 72 Chevy truck. I have bumper hitch pulled several 24-26' camper trailers with it no problem. I might have done a 28 once if I remember right. It also has 4 wheel lockers...
