    Think he is referring to the stator.....a magneto produces current for the spark, like a lawn mower engine. And I think he is saying he disconnected the stator charging wires going to the rectifier, for some reason.....

    If you got that one on ebay it could be a China clone, a lot of them are bad right out of the box. Keep that in mind when doing the tests....

    Looking at your pic with the motor in the bucket.....water needs to be well above the cavitation plate (4-6 inches) for the pump to work right. That could be the problem with that one. The other one, maybe the muffs not sealing good?

    Can't go wrong with the Sta-bil products......red for storage and the 360 for regular use. Never heard of stabilizers being too harsh......

    All the mating surfaces will need to be sealed.....or it will leak. High heat RTV will be good.....just don't get crazy with it.....any excess will squeeze out and could clog up the water passages.....

    There is no idle timing spec on Force engines....timing is set at WOT. Yamaha is a different animal.... Might want to fact check your info before stating that somebody else's info is wrong.....(y)
