    The new 4 cyl turbo motors use direct injection to produce more power. They work harder then lets say a V6 so won't last as long. All direct injection motors I've looked at (find new car for Admiral) will require intake valve cleaning every so many miles

    Agree, didn't see anything about air in the lines only the fill hole Running the led up/down increases some heat and heat expands.

    ok, but the motor in your vid doesn't appear to be doing much more then at idle So when you go to WOT it starts a similar ticking? If this is the case check your timing and carb may need to be cleaned. At higher RPM's the motor might be getting real lean on fuel. If motor goes lean it will...

    Moved to VP because trim issue with 290 leg I don't see an issue with the air, it appears to me that there is a internal leak in the pump or the trim cylinders

    Watched it a bit close yesterday and Idle shows fuel is same As power is increased the fuel burn on starboard starts increasing, 1000 .1 more 2000 .6, 3000 1 gal and pretty much stays that way up to WOT Other things like temp are not the same but close. Think its just just differences in parts...

    Bad connection or weak battery Does the tach show anything while cranking? Take a spark gap tester and place inline with one of the plugs to see if it's firing while cranking

    If your unable to see the wire colors, put hand on relays, turn key on MPR will turn on and not back off. FP relay should turn on and back off after a couple seconds

    Conductivity deals with a moisture meter readings. If there on the high side it means there is a lot of moisture internally. Moisture in wood and fiberglass means it's water logged and going to need a lot of work

    Welcome Kind of tough because some have stopped making them like GLM I searched "Marine exhaust for 283 chevy engine" and came up with 2 places, manifold warehouse and vintage boat parts but do not guarantee they are in stock. There might be others I didn't look that far

    Raw water will leak out but not enough to worry about. Remove end caps and look thru the tubes to see if all are clean, if not use a thin wire brush to clean them out. New gaskets, and fire it your good
