    Well for me there are is need for loops but I do see it lot and it does work I guess. I’m thinking you need to start from scratch at the motor. Cables not hooked up and do everything methodically and in order from link and sync on. Don’t skip any steps and close enough is not ok. Best

    Not saying it’s your problem but cables that are too long will be difficult to adjust. Do you have any excessive loops in your 24’ cables?

    My next thought would sticking float or needle and seat not sealing. The primer valve in not in the manual position correct?

    It would be odd with no other symptoms but if the tank is building some pressure due to not venting completely it could possibly push the fuel through to the carb. Jmo

Personally I can’t wrap my head around a plastic prop but they are supposedly tough and if one blade should break and get damaged you only need to replace that blade...

    Do you by chance have a marina close by that will let try different props? My locals do but I’m also on a small island and good customer service word of mouth travels fast so they do their best to provide a good service. Maybe worth ask around.

    It’s not that uncommon on a motor of that age. Unburnt fuel and oil makes it way out the exhaust. Any pic of the slick to see how much your talking about?

    I vote for poor quality materials and fuel. Things just aren’t what they used to be. Every company is looking to save a few bucks at the consumers cost.
