    Help to identify this boat, please?

    When I was a kid my dad bought a boat like that with 25 hp Evinrude that had the Teel color paint on it which I believe was from the 60s. It was used as a ski boat, painted purple (purple people eater) lol. That's was painted on the side of it.

    I found these pictures of me removing the transom showing how bad it was. The last one shows how even being dirty and looks solid but the damage is hidden. The wood was saturated! I hope people see this being so far into my rebuild.

    I would also think people have a better idea how a car is put together compared to a boat, hence not as many surprises. I can say it's a learning curve but a good one.

    No matter what old boat you are looking at having as much knowledge as you can before pulling the trigger is priceless. Any older boat will require work being structural, mechanical or both but just having an idea what ONE might be up against is a real benefit. Depending on a persons budget...
