    Is the noise coming from the helm or sterndrive? It makes the noise when idling If at the helm it might be the rack If at the sterndrive, then check the power steering ram. Check fluid level

    Dealer was closed yesterday, will try again today. I'm lucky it was a direct hit on the headlight. No damage anywhere else. I taped the plexiglass lens back in place for now.

    Still thinking Neutral safety switch Turn key to start and hold, now grab the throttle and move it slightly FWD and REV to see if it cranks If it doesn't then put a volt meter on the small yellow/red wire on the start assist relay. Turn key to start and see if there is 12V on the wire

    Going to call the dealer to see what the labor cost would be. Might do it my self if I can figure out how it comes apart. Will use some clear packing tape to hold the lens on until its done.

    Pressure is good Connect a vacuum gauge up to the intake, probably the line that connects to the fuel pressure regulator. Need a scanner to see what the MAP and IAC are seeing. Could measure voltage of the 2 but a scanner would be better

    Look at the rear of the motor and by the trim pump. The trim wires may have been disconnected. They are black with bullet connectors.
