    You cant use EV diagnostics to trouble shoot the PDP. The 1 volt drop is normal as the relays are drawing current from system. And thats a 40amp relay.

    The high/low speed windings use different size/turns of wire to create proper output. Just buy a stator and continue restore. Make sure you get correct thickness.

    Mercury 1150 Water In Bottom 2 Cylinders

    Your chances of repair fades hourly! The water mix is in cylinders and causing corrosion as I type. The lower main bearing,the top main along with wrist pins, rod bearings and crank will all be affected. Flood the engine with 2S or fogging oil till it pour out exhaust.

    Water temp sensor for 88 60hp 2 stroke Merc.

    I myself would worry about it as this motor doesnt have a t-stat so sender will always show cold..
