    Carb or worse?

Get a straight edge and check flatness. If both are flat then all it will cost ya if it fails is another head gasket

5.0 TBI low fuel pressure after running for 10 to 15 minutes

The coolers are to help prevent vapor lock. That's not your issue and the motor would overheat if there wasn't enough flow. Only way I know to measure pressure on TBI is with the Merc tee fitting

5.0 TBI low fuel pressure after running for 10 to 15 minutes

Your hand pump might be masking the real issue. It might be a collapsed fuel line, but then again it may be the regulator (item 15). Need to check fuel pressure 30 psi. Could be its low to begin with and just gets to low to run later https://www.mercruiserparts.com/bam/subassembly/31846/4856/90

    Carb or worse?

Have a valve job done on the head. The machine shop will check for flatness and cracks. Check the block for flatness using a metal straight edge, like a framing square or other. If the head or block isn't cranked, then water came in through the head gasket

    Changed Bellows still have water

I'm sure you don't want to hear this, but it comes down to figuring out where the water is coming in. Don't know how fast its coming in, but use your phone camera and get it where your head doesn't fit and see if you can find out

    Mercruiser 3.0 MPI ignition timing.

Looking thru Brunswick. the only manual is the operations manual which is free. Its free because it has nothing in it to help. Also states timing is non-adjustable. Looking at Merc site it list operations, parts and brochures, but no service manual

    Mercruiser 3.0 MPI ignition timing.

Agree, only issue is the ECM can only adjust so far. With the V6 and V8 the distributor has a install method to get it real close. Without knowing the install or setup, anything is possible

    Mercruiser 3.0 MPI ignition timing.

Being a 3.0 MPI it should be a CAT motor. This would mean it has a Delco EST distributor. A serial number would verify The hard part is I don't know of anyone which has the manual for the motor. Being an EST it should list what timing is set at on the cover. IS there something there?

    Need More Bling

Got a new truck last month (already put 4500 miles on it :poop:) but just not liking all the black. Long story short, dealer used stock photos instead of actual photos. The short of it, I do like the way it rides but not all the black out, its a Night Edition. Has 20 inch wheels, and I...

Chris Craft Volvo Penta 4.3 Ignition does not turn engine over

Most kill switches turn power off to the gauges and motor, but does not kill power to the start relay. In short, motor will crank, just not start. The start circuit goes from the key yellow/red wire, thru the neutral safety switch, to the start relay. Turn key to start and move the throttle...

Does anyone know what this is? Volvo Penta aq125a

That's a ballast resistor, and its used with points. When cranking 12V bypasses the resistor and goes straight to the coil. Once it starts, power goes thru the resistor to save the points In later years they used a resistor wire

    Carb or worse?

150 is for a new motor. Needs at least 100 to run at all. Worn motor in the 135 to 140 would be good. Best to check readings after motor is warmed up, but even cold should get close Exhaust manifold gasket will make it loud but their would be no reduction in power.
