    Just disconnect the 2 yellows from stator and tape back. S.L.O.W. (Speed Limiting Overheat Warning).

    Well you dont have SLOW on that model. Disconnect rectifier and retest as it is ignition

    If the alarm circuit is functioning correctly and not sounding its not overheating. You shoot a looper at t-stat housing

    It appears to be mounted on a toon. Since it sat in water check to see if center water deflector between toons has varmint's that could deflect or cause air into water flow

    Sound like you found your problems....it should run perfectly fine in a tank as long as water level is above impeller. Muffs can hide problems as its forcing city pressure thru motor along with impeller flow.

    You cannot run that motor without t-stats!!! It also does not have a restrictor on water indicator so all you will get is free running water with lil pressure and the t-stats have nothing to do with indicator flow. Some will lean spit on the hose due to lack of back pressure but need to check...
