As stated no voltage on yellow wires from stator unless flywheel is turning and this will be AC voltage. Check voltage on brown wires from stator to pack .
Raising and lowering on transom has nothing to do with a jackplate. A jack plate does several things for a motor/hull combo that just transom height settings cannot. Here a few books I highly suggest you get and read..
It has had a replacement powerhead installed and it was likely a later model as water valve is missing and appears to have the updated t-stats for cooling system
Need to get with someone who has the software and check the CPS. Need to make sure it syncing up . Also the start capacitor(big blue thng) next to EMM will cause this also
Those wires purpose is to charge battery and a defective rectifier can cause stator to overheat. Need to ohm and DVA test stator as if might have went ahead and failed. Or timer base as they can come and go depending on temp.
