    You have weak voltage output from stator to CDM modules. 95% of the time this problem is ,dragging starter, solenoid not passing amps to starter, battery cable ground or weak CCA from battery. The removing of plug adds cranking RPM that why it starts.

    You have to use the lime green, red or orange coils as they are grounded internally different due to ignition system design. Newer coils will not work

    You need a DVA adapter to read voltages correctly. I have read you can use a meter set on peak and read this but never tried or trusted this method. If correct from your postings. the rectifier is shot and the stator is suspect with the low voltage reading on browns. I would retest the output...

    Never seen a stator damage a rectifier but anything possible in electronics. There is no voltages going to stator only outputs..

    It will come out "pee" tube and exit out exhaust and idle reliefs. There is a water wall that comes down exhaust tube to cool it and dampen noise. Also cools top of impeller housing. and prop hub.

    Racer 100% correct. Unit needs to be a fixture or clamped in a vice upright and level to test correctly...

    The only wire to have 12V should be the red on rectifier, the yellows will have no voltage with key on....if so as posted the rectifier is toast. Your ohn spec is close for th brown wir and with leads hooked to the browns only , cranking you should see 160-400V on meter with DVA adapter.

    Use a puller but just runs bolts in about 1/4 inch as to deep you can damage items under flywheel and the bolts are metric.

    Serria parts are not Chinese they are Taiwan and are 2X times better than the CDI brand parts. The CDI are notorious for miswires and socket problems. Serria is the only one that have a lifetime warranty if you a selling/installing dealer and will pay you if their parts break. Only problem...
