    When you do final alignment, the motor sits on the rear mounts with bolts in place just snug. The front of the motor is lifted just enough from the thermostat housing bracket so the bottom nuts can be run up against the bottom of the motor mounts, finger tight.     Never seen pressure that low (15 psi) on a Merc. Depending on the serial number it would probably be 30 psi An issue to measure TBI is getting the fitting to connect inline

    Most likely not all the lube came out. Have not seen lube look like that, nor stay that way letting it sit. Muc has mentioned before that to clean it out it can take 3 changes (just as I remember) Would be interesting to see if it ever does seperate

    Not sure anyone can answer it on the legal side, but most comes down to insurance. Some say claims can be denied. I would suggest contacting your insurance company to see what they say We all see these little boats with big HP on them

    The part number is correct but coming from Amazon it can be rolling the dice. Might be good but may also be counterfeit. It says replaces that number. Does list sierra impeller 18-3058 Might also be how your assembling. The housing should mount flush with no need to press and pull into place

    Yes, there should be no need to use bolts to bring the housing flush What was the kit part number your using?

    npt and inverted flare are different, no such thing as a 5/8npt inverted flare. The carb adapter would be 1/4 npt to 5/8 inverted flare Need a motor serial number to verify, but being a sbc it is probably all steel lines will be 5/8 inverted flare. Filter to pump, and pump to carb
