    Agree, the horn has an issue and probably blew the 20 amp fuse. Look under the helm for an inline fuse holder.

    You had a battery drain now you don't have a battery drain, but have no power on pin 30 when your trying to crank the motor. Pin 30 of the relay only gets power after the relay is energized when the key is turned to start I don't understand your question anymore

    A timing light is not set using a light on these motors, it is done by positioning the distributor. Remove the injectors and have them cleaned and flow tested, cost is about $20 each round trip Either the gauge is off, or there is some kind of liquid in the cylinders (water, gas, oil)

    Check this with motor OFF. Red/Purple should have 12V full time, and Purple should have 12V only when key is ON

    I don't see it being the bearing unless you have roughness. Thought you said you have a 90ish motor, and the triangle coupler, this doesn't look like the triangle coupler

    Jump across the top solenoid on the trim unit. This should run the the trim up. Could be you just have a bad solenoid or connection Otherwise, disconnect the trim rams shaft rods from the drive and tie it up

    OK I'm puzzled again (doesn't take much these days), I sure your right but: My manual 6 says the shorter input shaft is the older style and is used with the older coupler. The longer shaft is used with the newer Tiangle coupler

    You need 2 wires going to the coil on + side and 3 on the - side. There may only be 2 on the - side if the brown wire is tied together inside the harness. Don't bother with the - side right now. Here is the wiring diagrams
