    BAR 🍸 OPEN

I built this table from that same flooring. I added the mahogany to the edges to hide the plywood veneer. It also has a sister table slid under it. Six coats of varnish sanded between each coat, then final coat is a rattle can of Matt Finnish to make it rather smooth.

    Mercruiser 3.0 help

As stated, if there is fuel in that line, the pump is bad. On a car that line doesn’t exist, a car will dump fuel on the ground or into the oil. On a boat if it did that it would put fuel in the bilge and cause an explosion And fuel in your oil. Be sure to replace with a marine fuel pump.

How should propeller “leakage / water seepage at the shaft seal” be addressed?

I have to assume it’s an inboard. Where the shaft goes through the hull, that’s called a stuffing box, or some are called a drip less depending on the style that’s installed. Yes, some pictures will help with the diagnosis.

Do waverunners have low oil pressure shutoff system?

This is exactly why you check/service any equipment you have over before using for the day. I hate it when someone says it just quit. Ask if was doin anything unusual and they shrug their shoulders.

    Prop Pocket Faring Cracks

I would walk away from that. There’s more going on that you can’t see. Even if the current owner has it fixed the next guy is going to have serious issues with that boat. You said it lives in the water, that water has wicked its way into unknown places. You and your family’s safety is more...

    Mercruiser 3.0 won't "lock in"

Pressure test and if it passes, you “might” be ok for a couple days of tooling around. No guarantees. If it gets worse and destroys the gears/drive, it’ll get more expensive from there. Unless you just get a new sei drive. I’ve personally seen some that destroy the case when things go south. I...

    Mercruiser 3.0 won't "lock in"

I’m not positive with the picture of the gears you put up. They look a bit pitted?

    rodent infestation

Ya, I don’t see the damage till they get washed. Try crawling in a large boat where the batteries are behind the engines, big 8-d’s. Ugh.

Ignition sparks as soon as starter stops cranking

As stated, if the battery is compromise, it takes a lot of the power away from the ignition. Had a motorcycle that would not start with the starter, but one kick on the foot starter it would fire right up. A proper battery solved the issue. And yes the ignition switch can cause that also, not...

    Marine Sea Foam

Guy I knew was at a musky tournament. Rained hard all weekend and flooded the lower campground. He stood on a picnic table and caught a big one. He won the bass boat!

    Gas guage

To ease your mind, put a meter on the tank feed wire and see if it has voltage, I bet not.

    Marine Sea Foam

Sea foam "might" work. Also, you have to add enough for the amount of fuel you have. A car is usually around 20 gallons. A boat may be much more, it wont hurt to try it but removing/rebuilding is the route I would go. Also anyone selling may say things to make you think it's better than it is...
