????----If a valve is stuck closed you would see nice compression numbers.-----It is a simple , very simple job to remove valve cover.----Something is wrong with the engine and it should be simple to determine what it is !
????----If the flywheel key is missing or sheared the timing will be way off.-----Up to you to do some simple checks.-----Remember no one can see , touch or hear your motor.

Glowing light spark testers will fool you.----Does spark jump a gap of 3/8" on both leads , yes or no ?----Easy to make a simple tester with some wire , glue and cardboard.
With a few drops of fuel in the cylinders the motor should BARK / ROAR like a dog or a lion.----You have no spark , weak spark or spark at the wrong time !!

Remove shifter fork.-----Run to your local hardware store.----Find a pin / bolt that fits the hole.----Or one a wee bit bigger and file it down to suit.----Cut to the correct length.
If no water gets in the gear oil it does not need to be changed every 50 hrs.----Truck differentials are vented to atmosphere.----Gearcases in good condition are sealed.
