    I would leave it. Those motors have excellent injection systems.

    Everybody thinks there was this great engineering change at OMC in 1964. there was not. Powerheads from the late 50s were the same as the later ones. They were still using bushings in later motors. What changed was the oil recommendation nothing else.

    Thats not true. A 9.9 performs much better at low RPM. The 15 is only marginally faster after 5500 rpm

    Kill switch wires have nothing to do with if the motor turns over.

    Is a Suzuki built motor for Arctic cat before their Bankruptcy. That makes it 81 or older. Go to Browns point marine look up early Suzuki DT 25 motors.
