    There is very little that goes wrong with these carburetors.-----What is your motor doing / not doing?-----Most boat shops have these small diameter fuel line on a roll.-----crowley marine-----evinrudeparts.ca-----Are 2 places that would have these fuel lines.

    Likely the exhaust gaskets ( 3 of them ) have a leak.------Compression should be 140 + on it.-----Rempove cylinder head to inspect and replace the 3 exhaust gaskets.----If water gets on any bearings it spells death for the motor.

    Sparkplugs are just a " dummy " device that provide a gap for voltage to jump.-----And transfer heat away to the block.

    ???-----I have taken my 30' boat off the trailer , put it on a cradle by nyself.----Only tool needed is a hefty jack in my opinion.----Moving a boat while on the trailer is easy.

    Exact and correct information should be posted.---When a newbie posts that they have a 1979 motor and no pictures or serial # , questions arise.-----Turns out it was NOT a 1979 motor.----Replies were / are meaningless in a situation like that.----Waste of time to try and help those folks.

    Not a 79 model then.-----Should be lots of powerheads available.----70 / 75 / 80 / 90 HP models use similar parts.----Consult your local friendly dealer for help.

    I do not know what you have !!-----The cowling / other parts pictured are NOT a 1979 model.---At least the decals are not.----What is the serial # of this machine.-----Decal for serial # is clearly visible in picture #3
