    Jerry-Buddy?

I don't believe this was designed as a permanent install, just a quick use for a portable use or as a test tool when tank and fuel line issues arrise. I could see folks with a small motor and a car topper boat make use of these.

    Went electric

Funny how this went from small gas engines like weed waters to electric tools for home remodeling....can't say I ever used a weed water to remodel my home, or have I ever used a drill to trim my grass !! Guess each tool has its own advantages, so why compare the two ?? LOL......

    7.5 mercury comet/lightening setting 30 years

Check for dry rotted fuel lines, probably best to just replace all of them !! Same for electrical wires and connections, check for dried out and cracked wires. Clean all electrical connections, change out the lower unit lube, no need to replace seals unless you find a leak. Water pump yes by...

Vinegar often works well for removing mineral stains, be sure you get "cleaning" vinegar", or numerous mineral stain cleaners on the market. Give it a good wax job when done cleaning it.

    Batteries not charging

Look around and see if you have an alternator/ starter rebuild shop in your area. They will know how to test it. Today's auto parts shop know very little unless you can find one with an old timer behind the counter. The minimum wage younguns have no idea.

Gas - Oil Mixture on old Evinrudes outboards

Big difference in using a 50 to one oil ratio and properly mixing oil at a 50 to one ratio !! Often folks do not mix properly !! Worked at a Marina in my younger days, scary how some folks mix their fuel, no wonder there are engine issues !!

    Went electric

Tried going electric about 10-12 years ago. When it came time to replace batteries ( about 5-6 years ) they were no longer availiable. Tools had been upgraded and old style batteries no longer availiable. Happened to me twice, had to end up buying all new tools. There are places for...
