    Polaris hawkeye drive belt rattle.

In some cases, rather than using shims to space the sheaves closer of farther the mfg offered different dia belts. That might ve the issue you just found. With the engine off you can use something to push the center of the belt down, then put a strsight edge across the top and measure how much...

    Bunk Boards or Guide Poles?

When bunks were mentioned I was thinking for the boat to sit on, but I see your reference to side guides as bunks. In my opinion, longer are much better and easy to add a tall pole if needed for visual. The side guides are also adjustable for height to get them where you need them depending on...

    Anyone know What these are????

Instead of steel try looking up uhmw or lexan plastic plates and do the same thing, drill and bolt together, but..these will flex, lighter weight and easier to handle. Some hdwr stores may have plastic pieces you could cut to size.

    Polaris hawkeye drive belt rattle.

Most adjustments are shimming the two tapered discs closer together or farther apart. Dissasemble the clutch face and there should be shims in there and shim kits are availiable. Once assembled you normally measure the amount if belt deflection by pressing down on rhe belt and see how much it...

    Bunk Boards or Guide Poles?

I would add bunks and side guides over poles anyday. Longer side guides will do much better in wind conditions. I have a full roller trailer with 4 ft long side guides for my 16' and it works great !!

    Anyone know What these are????

Foubd some on Amazon for wood slats, but no longer availiable. They are a couple stamped sheetmetal brackets with springs on them, run two slats thru them then you can adjust the length to get the arc you need. On Amazon they were under " hardwood adjustable slats for boat covers by Atwood"...

    Anyone know What these are????

Many years back an okd boat had two supports put together with a little bracket so the two support bars could be made shorter or longer to give the arc you needed. I can picture them, but have no idea what they were called. Trying to look them up but haven't thought of the right name to locate...

    Batman! Dadadadadadadada!

Especially today's SUV's.....From any distance you can't tell one from the other. In fact they are so similar, it makes we wonder if the same designers created them all and added minor detail changes to make them seem different. And all have the same price tag as well.....hmm.....

    good morning :)

I use the KISS method, a 16' aluminum hull with a 40 hp outboard. Stored in a barn, out of the weather. Maintence is quick, simple and easy. I always watch my fuel, fill it up every third outing and top off the oil injector tank. Plug in the onboard chargers when I park it. Check battery...

Weight of Jeep means little, factory tow "rating" is the big question !! If the jeep is not rated to tow that much, while you might be able to get away with it....if anything serious would happen, your insurance probably won't cover anything, they call it neglegence.

85 hp yamaha 2 stroke not cranking when cold out side.

You claim looks have nothing to do with it ??? Where have you been, anyone that has been around gasoline knows it turns color when it goes bad. I am 74, up until a few years ago, I did small engine repair, for 30 years. Most that came in with problems blamed E10 after it came out. But in...

Been using E10 since it came out, not one issue ! Watch where you buy your fuel !! Just took out my snowblower, drained out last years ( 11 months old) fuel from last year and it looks just like the new fuel !! Put the old gas in my small generator and it fired right up and ran perfect for an...
