    ok if TT works and the engine does not then that clears up the main power into the PDP power seems that cooling down brings it back to life.... one method you can try is to excelerate (reduce) the cooling of suspect components. A can of cooling refrigerant from the local electronics shop...

    the PDP panels have a known history of cold solder connections causing intermittent loss of power . basically the lower B+ entry point to the PDP needs a close look at. that b+ directly feeds T&T so an intermittent T&T is probablya give away that the B+ into the PDP is cold...

    different strokes for different folks I guess.... my 50'sand 60s motors still run great but suck more fuel than my 75hp ETEC trolling walleyes at .6L /h 50 and 60s cars were great also but....new cars don't destroy out climate as much, and new cars will be missed when we all go electric...

    multimeter testing only checks resistance of primary and secondary windings it won't tell you if arcing is present or failure under heat the only time the test is valid is when to coils are OPEN but a non open coil is not always a good coil !! http://www.pochefamily.org/outboard/Coils.htm
