    Concern here is if your bearing clearances were set up correctly, which based on what is seen I would bet they are too tight.     Correct I think the T has check balls with springs in it that either get closed by water pressure when the T stat opens or restrict the raw water flow so the appropriate amount is available to cool the block.     By removing hose 19,22,23 and the T that feeds them off 7&11 they eliminated the constant cold water feed to the risers. If you are only feeding the manifolds vs manifolds and risers separately, you dont use the restrictor gasket. ad was suggesting go back to the two hose system thermostat...

    Strange they would send a HV oil pump if the engine wasn't set up for it.... Would verify the relief AD is speaking of, i think with out the remote filter it is in the Oil Filter adapter/threaded piece that attaches to the block
