    McCulloch Shear Pin Needed

If you use aluminum or brass pins your good....steel can work if it is soft, on larger powered motors steel might work, but on smaller motors use softer material. If needed a small brass screw can be used, carry a couple for spares while you get proper ones made or ordered.

1991 Tracker Pro Deep V 17 ignition issues

Also check your battery, just because it takes a charge doesnt mean it will hold it....full battery is 12.6 volts and up, dead battery is 12 volts !! Under 12 volts means battery may not recover. Get it tested at you local auto parts store, normally the test is free. To often a good battery...

    Water in my bilge

Had an old leaky 12' v bottom alum boat, I often pulled the plug ( could reach it from the inside!). To let the excess water out while underway. The suction from moving would suck out a couple gallons real quick!! Just make sure the plug was back in before stopping..

    Water in my bilge

Back in the day of vinyl roofs on cars, we used a product called D&L hand cleaner with lanolin. This stuff was excellent in getting stains and discoloration off any type of vinyl !! Best part was the lanolin made it soft and plyable so it didnt crack in the winter !!! Did a search for a car...

Centering boat on trailer (solo) without trailer guides? or DIY guide advice

If it weighs under 1000 lbs the 1/8 or 3/16" flat steel will work but if 2000 lbs then go to 1/4". Going thicker wont hurt anything !!! If you use aluminum flat stock then go at least 1/4" or 3/8" for heavy duty U bolts. If you have a machine shop close by they may have some scraps you could...

    Spindle pitting or discoloration?

The bearings dont spin on the spindle, it just holds them in place so the wheel/ tire can rotate. The bearungs should not be a sloppy fit, they are actually held in place by the races. Those spindles look ok from your pics, as long as all new bearings, races and seals, I dont see an issue, just...
