    98 Evinrude 115 carb adjustment?

Looper Engine. As racer said, compression test. Also does the engine have Spark, good enough to jump a 3/8" Gap? As mentioned, clean all the Electrical Connections between the Battery and Starter, and clean the Bendix and lube it. Is the Battery in good shape, still having most of it's Capacity?

    High fuel pressure issue

I apologize in advance as this doesn't solve the problem, but Carbed engines are so much easier to troubleshoot when things go wonky. Same goes for Mechanical Advance Distributors

1985 evinrude 30 hp prop power issue

The procedure is in the manual, you may have to read the Fuel and Ignition sections fully, but it is in there.

    A disaster waiting to happen

Quite a few Stuart Pidds, Stu for short, towing. Sometimes they kill themselves, which is Good, but more often they take others with them, which could be good or bad, depending on whether or not the others are from the same Gene Pool as Stuart...

Triton 18ft Roller Trailer Alignment Question

The early 175s were 2 liter, in 1982(when Merc started Prop Rating their 6 Cylinder motors), the 175 had the 2.4 liter block Most 150s, Crank or Prop rated, were 2 liter, however in the late 90s there were some 150s that were 2.4 liters.

1980s mercury 115 tower of power issues!

While putting the oil in first is better than pouring it into a filled tank, swaying the trailer really doesn't do anything. If the oil is at the bottom, it will stay at the bottom. Best way is to mix in 6 gallon lots. Put in a gallon or two, add the oil, shake it, add more gas, shake again...

    Prop hitting anode

Shows that the QC is like, Paint, Box, and get them out the Door. Any complaint by the Customer is be treated as "You must have bent it in the first few seconds of use, Warranty Denied". The Blades I saw, looked they had a different Rake Contour, than the other two

    1975 25hp sneeze, and screw?

Missing at all rpms? Well Fuel and Spark are the Suspects. Fuel Starvation, but it should run fine at lower Rpms. Internal Breaks in any of the Wires in the Ignition system. That Ignition System uses only 1 Coil under the Flywheel, and a Coil next to each cylinder. The wires from the Armature...

1980s mercury 115 tower of power issues!

Measuring is on thing, mixing is another part that people neglect. They just pour the oil in and think that it magically mixes. It mostly settles at the bottom of the tank. Some stirring/agitation is required, easier to do before all the tank is full. Permanent tanks require a bit more Diligence...

    Prop hitting anode

I am aware of the dual blade design, I wasn't referring to those. They were 4 blades, I was referring to 3 blade Props. If I had mentioned issues with the 4 Blade Props, People would have been all over me like Bees to Honey about the Dual Design, which by the way I think is kind of Stupid, but...

90HP 2 Stroke Exhaust Port scaling

You don't need a ton, just a Bead of it laid on the bearing/bearing cap will hold them. And it has to be a grease that Gasoline will wash away.

90HP 2 Stroke Exhaust Port scaling

Grease? The only place a grease would be needed is hold loose Needle and Roller Bearing in place. And only use an Assembly Grease that gas can wash away easily. Otherwise, TCW_3 is all you need when assembling the engine. Make sure the Ring Gap is large enough. Find the Narrowest part of the...
