    More wanting to know how normal those kinds of hours are for 4 strokes, Ive bought plenty of older 2 strokes with unkown hours and serviced them myself. But 4 stroke is new to me.     Oh yes my bad, sorry, its 2014. Yes compressions are all there, there abouts like normal. I guess what Im doing is sounding out am I running a huge risk of being stuck with an engine that could just seize, or, can the Yamaha 4 strokes do such high hours with not too much worry pending car taken...

    All very true, he has 5 years of service history, 100 hour services never missed. Just incredible the Yamaha 4 stroke. I thought the 2st 3cyl which I know inside out was bullet proof. Still, without much 4st experience my worry is its likely to need some form of rebuild if not just a gasket...

    Looking at a small tender for diving that has had 1400 hours, but serviced regularly. Im not use to so many hours with 2 strokes, so Im wondering at what point something like a gasket is inevitable no matter how well its serviced?

    Im new to this model, supposedly 5kg lighter but dang they still heay. Anyway, do they come with a rectifier and all the loops required to charge a marine radio and depth sounder battery? If not, what do I need to add to get it working if possible?

    Im looking at a boat "as is shape". I know its getting water in the piston. I have seen a picture at the bottom of a cam shaft due to this issue and was all discoloured. I do not know much more.     thank you, but from what i can see, you can connect that directly to the plotter itself, there doesnt seem to be the must have sonar hub? On that note the through hull ones seem reasonably priced.

    Its not the weight, its the incline of slightly more than 7 degrees. Video on youtube shows it struggling, but hes using it on paved drive. It may work as is, or it may not, is $500 where I actually live.

    Here is all I have, where is the oil pump meant to be, does anyone have an exploded diagram and any advice of what parts I need? What I can is its missing the pump entirely and the rods that connect each part. Have the rigged this so it bypasses a pump entirely? Engine Oil reservoir.

    Somebody removed it, opposite problem I had with the 85. Somebody either got worried it would fail or they just prefered premix. I am sure these engines know when to run the engine leaner ie trolling speeds. So imo the oil pump should be attached. And personally I hate premix. So is it just...
