    Same width, you'll need some extra room up front. Motor mount locations are different. Cut out is the same. You'll need a *complete* engine package, controls, wiring, exhaust, etc.

    Where? I don't see a common wire that would only affect 1 side. Edit: unless splice 110 and 111 are physically close to each other, and you have all 4 of the affected wires right next to each other and chaffed

    Certainly possible, but I'd expect it to surface earlier. Have you checked your fuel filter for gunk/water? Also, you can put a timing light on the plug wires to see if you're getting a consistent spark when this happens.

    Certainly sounds like a mechanical issue if 2 injectors from each side are fired separately from the other 2. But the voltage thing doesn't make sense then That might be helpful

    Carb special tool: screwdriver, $1 Points special tool: dwell meter, free from your dad EFI special tool: Rinda, $500 (plus adapters if you want to work on a different engine) Yeah, pretty much the same thing ;)
