Might not be getting consistent spark. Certainly sounds flooded. Have you checked to make sure your choke isn't closed? Are you trying to clear it by starting it with the throttle wide open? Once it starts and is running rough, have you looked down the throat at idle to make sure you aren't...
Don't think so, it sounds gradual. Missing on 1 cylinder you probably wouldn't even hear. But you can throw a timing light on there and see if you're getting a constant spark on each cylinder.
OMG, I'm still shallow breathing about cutting a hole that large in a boat that expensive, esp so close to the water line. You're a brave man, looks good. My solution is leave the dogs at home.
This tests whether you're getting proper combustion in each cylinder. So multiple reasons, but this will tell you whether each cylinder is actually producing power.
Wow, had missed this thread. Sucks-->could have been worse. I wonder if it was an issue with the touch screen failure, or a failure of the unit in general. Maybe none of the AFR data (and assuming it gets rpm data somehow as well) was making it to the PCM...
@Scott Danforth , please elaborate on why anyone would install a "do not remove" screw. Much like a "don't press this button" button, it seems like a pretty predictable conclusion in the wrong hands...
