    It ran with 2 plugs but not 4? Recheck your wire order on your distributor cap and your timing

    Check spark first, it's easy and usually either there or not.

    Plenty of aftermarket for the gm products. The efi proprietary computer stuff is the worst. New outboards are worse, new cars are worse... They have an ability to make things unfixable unless you're a dealer

    You now have another full tank of old gas, and your carb still needs to be cleaned. A prop still won't solve your problem. Rinse and repeat on this thread.

    You're still in it for less than 1k. Maybe cheaper to fix what's wrong, maybe not. Being at the mercy of one manufacturer sucks. And even a diehard efi guy has to admit that a tbi isn't much of an upgrade.

    You sure that's where it's supposed to be? I haven't heard of any that aren't mounted at the top of the pipe.

    I can. Carb brackets, changing pulleys/removing reluctor ring under crank pulley, dipstick doesn't fit, some bolts are metric, starter may not fit, water pump may not fit, squishy v non squishy mounts... Although he's going from a serp setup on a vortec so I guess a lot of those don't apply.
