    Fuel gauge normally works off ignition key, but with all the other things not working look for a wire that is disconnected from battery.

    You said starting fluid would not help to keep it running, which tells me your loosing spark It's not the coil Might be the ignition switch. Measure voltage at the coil to see if 12V is dropping

    All these new motors need to be scanned unless there is a built in device like Mercs vessel view Start with checking/cleaning your connections, might have some corrosion which makes the PCM reading voltage low. If that doesn't do it, measure voltage at alternator and key switch
