    suggestion: I would remove the coils and test primary and secondaries if the secondaries test OK at 200-400 ohms and you then get 6-12 ohms mounted....... the coil secondaries may be shorted internally to mounting bolts or punched or have burned the coil body which ends up touching...

    yes you did real good ... carb likely fine just clean it ... no cheap chineese carb kits... their orange gasket melt with fuel in the carb always reuse nylon washers on the GC oil screws . don't hesitate change the impeller... it sat all those years getting stiff and brittle...

    both of them can’t need new seals. ??? GC seals ??? you never know till you pressure/vacum test or.... find water in the GC

    who knows maybe Racerone... pee water is not engine cooling water ....different flow path sometimes. so ??? is this problem something that came up all of a sudden for you or is this a new to you engine that came with a problem. I would pull the PH and do a colonoscopy on it :) btw...

    don't make this to complicated.... common fogging oil with work fine just rotate the FW a few times after fogging the cyl. s. just put a doggie pad under the GC if you store it upright ! lots of utubes around to help clean the carb changing the impeller is easy as pie and should be...

    if it works you should see voltage go up couple volts on the battery posts after starting the engine. without checking the AC voltage (2 yellows) to confirm the AC source is ok changing the rectifier/regulator won't help.

    wrong base gasket under the power head maybe..... different years different shapes on the 5.5 (uncle of the 6hp fisherman) see pic from vintage outboard. maybe a wrong base gasket was put under the ph by you or previous owner

    ok been reading on ETEC KEY ON voltage.... 12v olt is fine at all inj and coils etc.... 40 volts running should be it from what I can gig up.

    holes are for the tilt adjust bar and... reverse lock.... pushing the lock lever hooks into the tilt adjust bar....check parts listing for your engine ! some small hps lock by rotating in reverse what is your mdl #....

    better than 200 if ok look further for water restriction OEM and Sierra show it as a 143 thermostat but 153 is probably fine but a bit hot

    recheck thermostat operation and retest watr flow....<200 is to hot ! thermostats open at 140 run a mono line up the pee hole good to hear psi's went back up to 115

    fix the water flow issue something needs fixing... then just run it... my 9.5 9622a runs fine with 65-70- psi it is 30 years old and may simply keep going . all depends on what you want if for.

    nice little troller TN or TD post model # TN27 have standard magneto...easy to fix up if compression is OK I have a similar one in the shed model TN27 http://pochefamily.org/outboard/ why not fix it up ! DO NOT JUNK IT !!!

    no offense but you need to progress in steps to ensure proper fuel flow to get your PSI up to specs btw unable to open your atachement ... temp sensor must be ok no EMM faults tank pick-up not clogged ? tank hose is good to engine lift pump ? lift pump surface filter screen ok ...
