    you should get the serv manual & EV diagnostic software to see if any faults are logged. your dealer should have given you a fault log dump (history and current faults) they can just email it to you in PDF format since the EV software keeps a log in their shop system (windows PC)...

    if you do decide to work (refurbish) the coils points condensers may as well do plug wires and boots... you will need some 7mm metallic strand wire (local bike shops may sell you some for $2 a foot or so. DO NOT USE CARBON FIBER PLUG WIRES !!! keep the little mini rubbers on the coil/wire...

    If it runs great and starts great injectors likely ok. compression likely ok also so you are missing fuel as the 3rdelement. do you recall when all this issue started? how are the filters ...new ..old... crudded . tank venting ok ? did you inspect the return filter #7 on...

    depending on actual shaft size ......tried drilling tapping and bolting it back in one piece ? welding seems possible with those wire feed welders

    yet...everything simple.. is complex and ends up in the garbage can because we can't fix anything anymore....:-( The toaster became complex when they moved up from the two door slice flippers :-)
