    may not be gear oil just fuel -oil and carbon crud...... if you are loosing gear oil it will be replaced with water in the gear case so just do a periodic check of your gear oil .... if no water found then it is just fuel/oil/carbon crud if it is gear oil gearcase may have a airline...

    bad carb gasket (Chineese ...reddish color & rubber soft???) loose screws ?? even with a stuck open float the gasket should not leak gas would just spill over from the vent redo the whole carb properly inlet port should not leak.... using proper sized hose ?? and clamp worry...
