    I think its mainly old bones, but does appear your getting water in and its just starting. Looks like its from the drain hole. There should be a brass drain tube. The link is the type not necessarily the correct length. It requires a special tool to install. That said before its installed...

    No, the length question is to find out if it will fit in another's shop. My Formula trailer is longer but overall about a foot shorter. My truck is right at 21ft :rolleyes:

    Trying to figure out total length on the trailer was an issue but many calls and think it comes to 33ft. Transom to bow is 25ft 6 in Trailer is 28ft so tongue should be 2.5ft Boat with motors is 30.5ft Its only called a 280 because if you count the swim platform and that comes out to 27.5ft

    Went to the guy who will be making the enclosure yesterday to discuss. Kind of getting to the point need to have the boat to really decide what will work best. Had some great news Friday, the boat should be done at the factory at the end of February :cool:

    Yes Harness was submerged, It needs to be thoroughly cleaned. I would remove the harness and fill a container with white vinegar and let it soak. Then pull out and soak in clean water. Then spray down with WD40 and then air hose and blow dry

    Could install a fuel pressure/vacuum gauge on one of the filters. If first filter before the supply pump then vacuum gauge, and if after the pump then pressure gauge Most likely your good, it revs up and such

    Maybe someone replaced it and did it incorrectly The one in pic has power direct to float as Bondo mentioned. Also has power from the fuse box to a switch for direct power ON. The light will light anytime power is applied to pump. Note there are 2 fuses (inline direct from Bat and one from box)

    Transom help if repairable.

    Could get it clean with wire wheel or other things. Wash down with acetone and use JB Weld or other epoxy. Best to just replace but understand maybe not now
